AD Guitar.

This is kinda old, but I'm putting it up anyway. It's a guitar design I did on my friend Dodo's guitar. It came out quite alright, considering it's the first time I did a decent sized design on wood. I just found the pictures I took on my hard drive, and felt like putting them up.

It's a play on his Initials and the phrase 'Anno Domini' (you know, like AD and BC after years.)

just thought I'd put it up...

Used a Black OHP/Permanent Marker. I'm sure you can get a sharpie in silver or grey (or something metallic- gold, bronze, etc.) which can stand out on a black surface.

Alternatively (If your'e really good at art and stuff) You can mask off a pattern, then lightly coat the part you want coloured with glue, and then stick silver/gold leaf on it. leave it to dry and then pat off the excess. You'll have a design in silver leaf then.
